The R800 has two advantages over most rock-shaped speakers. With its painted stone-look grille, it looks more like a real rock. Just as important, its awesome 8-inch graphite woofer produces real audiophile-quality bass and midrange. (We use the same driver in some of our best in-wall and ceiling speakers.) A top-quality 1-inch polyamide tweeter fills out the high frequencies.

We built the R800’s molded enclosure to survive years of the worst your backyard can dish out: rain, snow, heat, cold, dust and even routine impacts. Its extremely high 95 dB sensitivity means you can drive it to party-level volumes even with a 10-watt amplifier. Put a couple of these out back and your summers could be a lot more fun!
